Mount Sterling will be having their annual Christmas in the Village on Dec. 7 from 8am-8pm. The all day event will include many activities held by the various small businesses in town.

The day begins with the Mount Sterling Eagle Youth League’s annual breakfast with Santa, a Bell Choir and the Gingerbread House contest. These morning events are being held at the community center starting as early as 8 a.m. At the shop A Sterling Christmas you will stuff your own 16” plush between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Starting at 4:30, the village will have a Christmas tree lot, an alpaca kissing booth, multiple vendors, carolers, contests and shop hops with the local small businesses. Kountry Klipping’s Pet Grooming will be holding an Ugly Sweater Pet Contest beginning at 4:30 at the Gazebo. The top three will win a prize.

The Illuminated Parade begins at 6 p.m. and will feature the Madison-Plains High School Band. Santa will also be featured in this parade. To end the festivities, there will be a tree lighting and giving tree at the gazebo.
