How To Make Buffalo Chicken Pasta

Marlee Hamm

Buffalo Chicken Pasta is my favorite family tradition. We started doing this dish in 2012. I found it online and wanted to try it one year, and we all loved the dish. It has been a family tradition ever since.

  • 2 cups whole wheat high fiber pasta, I measure uncooked.
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • ¾ cup softened light cream cheese
  • ¼ cup light ranch dressing
  • ½ cup franks hot sauce, or any other hot sauce
  • ⅔ cup shredded cheese

  1. Boil your pasta according to package, drain. Preheat oven to 350F and spray a 9×13 casserole dish.
  2. In a large bowl add your pasta and chicken. In a small bowl, cream together your cream cheese, dressing and hot sauce.
  3. Add mixture to your chicken and pasta and add ⅓ cup shredded cheese, leaving the other ⅓ cup aside.
  4. Mix well and pour into your casserole dish, pat down. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes. Add remaining cheese and bake another 5 minutes. Let it cool for 3-5 minutes.
  5. And Enjoy!

It’s a great dish for people that don’t like super spicy things. I hope you enjoy this dish as much as my family does.
