Last Semester as a FFA Officer

Lucas Stephenson, Staff Writer

As I near the end of my time as a FFA Officer here at Madison Plains I feel a lot of emotions. In this last semester I hope to take time and look back at my many accomplishments, not only in the FFA but also in my own life. It is easy to take for granted the things that you will learn as an officer. Being an officer is so much more than running meetings.

In my last semester I have to think about my retirement address and that is a huge time that I will have to look back on the accomplishments in my FFA career. All of my accomplishments have led me to getting my state degree. My state degree through FFA is a huge time all about accomplishments that I have made in the last 4 years.

I have never sat back and looked at my accomplishments until now. Now that this is my last semester you really pay attention to what you did because you are applying for scholarships and you are trying to figure out what you really want to do.  The last semester has really been bitter sweet so far.
